Sorry it's been so long since I've posted.I've been super duper busy&spending a lot of time w/Isaac,because I was getting ready to start a new job.I started yesterday&holy crap it hard work!But I think after a while I will get used to doing this,well.......because this is something that I really want to do.I have always wanted to get into the medical field&I got a job working for a rehabilitation&care facility in my hometown!!I'm working as a N/A right now,and am working on getting my CNA in the process.I'm also taking a medical terminology course.Very exciting work!!I'm really going to miss being a SAHM,but I think in the long run it will be the best thing for me to do.I want to be a professional.....and I want my booger butt to be able to look up to me:)

After I get my certification,I going to work on getting my pre reqs out of the way&applying to the nursing program.I'm almost positive that I will have to take some math refresher courses,though...lol:)

Busy,busy,busy......but totally worth it in the long run:)

I'm gonna really make an effort to update more&let yall know how I'm doing with my bizz:):)As well as posting more pics of Isaac!!!By the way,he's doing awesome....as a matter of fact I will be sure to post some pics of him in his halloween costume....he's going to be a tiny ninja...lol:)Good times!

The Associated Press closely watched Governor Sarah Palin, the GOP's VP pick, at last night's RNC convention and has outlined the many ways she exaggerated and lied.

Right or Left, a lie is a lie. It doesn't matter where on the political spectrum you are, right?

These are not 'personal' digs, mind you.

She's lying on the 'professional' stage, y'all.

Check out Pinocchio Palin's claims and the truth:

PALIN: "I have protected the taxpayers by vetoing wasteful spending … and championed reform to end the abuses of earmark spending by Congress. I told the Congress 'thanks but no thanks' for that Bridge to Nowhere."

THE FACTS: As mayor of Wasilla, Palin hired a lobbyist and traveled to Washington annually to support earmarks for the town totaling $27 million. In her two years as governor, Alaska has requested nearly $750 million in special federal spending, by far the largest per-capita request in the nation. While Palin notes she rejected plans to build a $398 million bridge from Ketchikan to an island with 50 residents and an airport, that opposition came only after the plan was ridiculed nationally as a "bridge to nowhere."

PALIN: "There is much to like and admire about our opponent. But listening to him speak, it's easy to forget that this is a man who has authored two memoirs but not a single major law or reform — not even in the state senate."

THE FACTS: Compared to McCain and his two decades in the Senate, Obama does have a more meager record. But he has worked with Republicans to pass legislation that expanded efforts to intercept illegal shipments of weapons of mass destruction and to help destroy conventional weapons stockpiles. The legislation became law last year. To demean that accomplishment would be to also demean the work of Republican Sen. Richard Lugar of Indiana, a respected foreign policy voice in the Senate. In Illinois, he was the leader on two big, contentious measures in Illinois: studying racial profiling by police and requiring recordings of interrogations in potential death penalty cases. He also successfully co-sponsored major ethics reform legislation.

PALIN: "The Democratic nominee for president supports plans to raise income taxes, raise payroll taxes, raise investment income taxes, raise the death tax, raise business taxes, and increase the tax burden on the American people by hundreds of billions of dollars."

THE FACTS: The Tax Policy Center, a think tank run jointly by the Brookings Institution and the Urban Institute, concluded that Obama's plan would increase after-tax income for middle-income taxpayers by about 5 percent by 2012, or nearly $2,200 annually. McCain's plan, which cuts taxes across all income levels, would raise after tax-income for middle-income taxpayers by 3 percent, the center concluded.

Obama would provide $80 billion in tax breaks, mainly for poor workers and the elderly, including tripling the Earned Income Tax Credit for minimum-wage workers and higher credits for larger families.

He also would raise income taxes, capital gains and dividend taxes on the wealthiest. He would raise payroll taxes on taxpayers with incomes above $250,000, and he would raise corporate taxes. Small businesses that make more than $250,000 a year would see taxes rise.

The AP report also showed how Palin's champions have exaggerated the Alaskan governor's 'acheivements':

MCCAIN: "She's been governor of our largest state, in charge of 20 percent of America's energy supply … She's responsible for 20 percent of the nation's energy supply. I'm entertained by the comparison and I hope we can keep making that comparison that running a political campaign is somehow comparable to being the executive of the largest state in America," he said in an interview with ABC News' Charles Gibson.

THE FACTS: McCain's phrasing exaggerates both claims. Palin is governor of a state that ranks second nationally in crude oil production, but she's no more "responsible" for that resource than President Bush was when he was governor of Texas, another oil-producing state. In fact, her primary power is the ability to tax oil, which she did in concert with the Alaska Legislature. And where Alaska is the largest state in America, McCain could as easily have called it the 47th largest state — by population.

MCCAIN: "She's the commander of the Alaska National Guard. … She has been in charge, and she has had national security as one of her primary responsibilities," he said on ABC.

THE FACTS: While governors are in charge of their state guard units, that authority ends whenever those units are called to actual military service. When guard units are deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan, for example, they assume those duties under "federal status," which means they report to the Defense Department, not their governors. Alaska's national guard units have a total of about 4,200 personnel, among the smallest of state guard organizations.

FORMER ARKANSAS GOV. MIKE HUCKABEE: Palin "got more votes running for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska than Joe Biden got running for president of the United States."

THE FACTS: A whopper. Palin got 616 votes in the 1996 mayor's election, and got 909 in her 1999 re-election race, for a total of 1,525. Biden dropped out of the race after the Iowa caucuses, but he still got 76,165 votes in 23 states and the District of Columbia where he was on the ballot during the 2008 presidential primaries.

FORMER MASSACHUSETTS GOV. MITT ROMNEY: "We need change, all right — change from a liberal Washington to a conservative Washington! We have a prescription for every American who wants change in Washington — throw out the big-government liberals, and elect John McCain and Sarah Palin."

THE FACTS: A Back-to-the-Future moment. George W. Bush, a conservative Republican, has been president for nearly eight years. And until last year, Republicans controlled Congress. Only since January 2007 have Democrats have been in charge of the House and Senate.

Hey!I hope everybody had a great Labor Day Weekend!We did.We went to Lake Courdealane&had alot of fun.Isaac got to hand out with his cousins&he really liked that.As a matter of fact,I can see it in his face right now he misses his cousins already:(I hope we get to make it over there again soon.

Anyways,these are some pics from on our way home.The bird houses are along the side of the road in between Princeton&Potlatch&I thought they'd make a cool picture....and they did!!I'm so happy with how they turned out!

Then we stopped at a playground behind an elementary school in Potlatch...and went down the slide like a hundred times....lol;)Isaac loved that!! Again,I really hope everybody had a great Labor Day Weekend!!I know we did!!

Did you know that water&wood do not mix?Yes,it's true.I never really realized what a (excuse the lang)BITCH hard wood floors can be.Pretty,yes.clean up super easy.....and swiffer wet jets are so flippin'cool.

However,water under hard wood floors is not a super cool thing.

Our AC wasn't tilted back right, so the thing apparently froze&melted,and the water drained right down our effing wall and under our pretty solid oak effing floor....

Thank God for homeowners.

Now if only sleeping beauty would get up....

The boys really had a great time at the circus....plenty of junk food,and entertainment.However they said that it was hotter that CRAP during the whole thing.So I would have most definitely been miserable if I even attempted to go,lol:)Aaron&Isaac recruited my step dad,Bill though.They all had a blast!!

You ask who this hot bikini babe is?Why it is me!!About 29 years ago:)

Time to get back on the wagon.Exercise wagon that is.I started going to the gym about a month and a half before I started my classes&after I started them,the gym was put on the back burner.I have a hard time using my hours in the day wisely,you see.....so something had to go.And now I have to start from square 1.But that is okay:)

Boy is it going to be a long hard road.I have really let myself go over the years&about the last three and a half of them,it has really started to show.....and just recently in my health.Good Lord what have I done to myself?Aghh.....I will get back to the old me eventually:)

I used to be skinny.Not too skinny though...more healthy.Even though it would probably show overweight on a BMI chart now....my most comfortable weight was 140.I wasn't starving & I looked good.And I must say that I looked pretty darn good in a pair of Levis'.Now if I want a good pair of jeans I have to shop in the fat section at the Fashion Bug,or go to Spookyloo to shop in the fat section at the Maurices in the valley mall.

Now I am not being hard on myself.I am stating the facts.Pure and simple.

And I have to say that my hot Levis' aren't the only reason I want to lose the LBS.Eventually I want to have another baby so Isaac can have a little brother or sister.It wouldn't be good for me or the baby if I was to get preggo now.When I got pregnant with Isaac,I ended up with gestational diabetes.So if I was to have another baby now,I would probably end up being insulin dependent this time around & I really don't think that would be good for the little guy(or girl,or even me for that matter.

Also I am not getting any younger....I figure I probably have a good 3 years to get the weight off.(and hopefully be able to get pregnant again;))

So while I am shedding my weight,we can start looking for a bigger house...lol!!)

Please wish me luck& alot of willpower&motivation...I am gonna need it:)

Reminiscing a little today

Just a quick post....since I am staying up late again tonight.I was at my Dads' earlier today,and I found these pictures over there.My dad has tons of pictures,and almost every time I am over there I go through them.But as I was looking at them today, it really dawned on me how BIG Isaac is getting.He's walking now and on the verge of running(he tries really hard to run),trying to talk.....he will do certain things now if I ask him to,so that tells me that he is understanding me talking to him......

I remember looking at him when he was this old and thinking to myself.....I wonder when he's going to start walking?,or....I wonder when we are going to be able to communicate with each other?

And I can't believe it is now!Right now!The time has gone by so fast......and sometimes, especially at moments like this....I wish I could just make the time slow down.If not just for a little bit.

My little bubby is turning into my big boy.

I am so happy with our resurfaced tub!!It looks so pretty&shiny....and if you listen very closely,it will whisper your name, and tell you that you need to take a bubblebath:)

And the lady who gets the job done,is a genuinely friendly,and professional person.Those people don't come along too often:)

Memorial Day Weekend

Phew!!!I finally got my collage done and ready to post!Last weekend was so much fun.My Aunt Jan,Aunt Annie&my cousin Joe Henry made it over here to visit for Memorial Day weekend.It was so much fun to see them:)Isaac absolutely loves Joe Henry.I really,really
hope they make it over here this summer too.(or visa versa)

And in other news, I am almost done with my classes!!Actually that is what I'm supposed to be doing now,however I had the need to get this posted:)After this I will proceed with studying...lol!

Also,tomorrow I am going to get a new hair do!!YAY!!!!!!!!!!I have been looking a bit frumpy as of late,and that gets a little depressing.A good eyebrow wax will be nice,too...lol:)I will try to post pics of the no 'do tomorrow!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while...things have been sort of hectic,what with Isaac being sick&getting caught up on my classes,having a lady coming over to give us an estimate on our tub getting resurfaced....cleaning up the house,and then of course Isaac feeling better and deciding to get in trouble .Which I am sure is attributed to the fact that he missed out on so much trouble while he wasn't feeling good.....lol!! Naturally bloggin' took a back seat:)

but I am so glad he is feeling better. And I am so thankful that his fever and getting really sick once is the only thing he came down with after the vaccine.I don't know how he would have handled actual pocks. My guess is it would have drove him batty(or maybe just me?)

And I am so excited to get our tub resurfaced!!Right now our tub looks so bad.So bad infact that I wouldn't dare to post a pic of it.However, I will once it is done.We,at first toyed with the idea of just installing a new tub.But that is a major remodel,and honestly something that we can't really afford right now...because of the fact that I am not working.I am so glad my mom told me about the lady that does the resurfacing!! New tub effect at a fraction of the cost...350.00 is what it's gonna cost to get this done.And it comes with a 5 year warranty!!We have to take that cats to a kennel,and go stay with family for 3 days after she does it because of all the chemicals....but I honestly feel it will be well worth it!!I'm so EXCITED!!!Yay:):)

In other exciting news, I am almost done with my classes!!2 more lessons,and 3 finals due by June 6th!!Then I am all done:)*at least until Sept/Oct.*

Yep,these two awsome chickadees graduated from LCSC today!!

Sadie graduated with a bachelors of science~Buisness Administration,

And Lindsay,with a bachelors in Education~Elementary Education,and a minor in Reading.

Way to go:)

We really did have a good time at the ceremony.Isaac made friends with a nice lady who was sitting behind us,and I only had to leave the stands to change him once...lol:)Believe it or not,this was the most relaxed part of the day despite the crowded stands,and the stuffiness of the auditorium.

The day actually started out pretty good, even though Isaac&I had to get up extra early for his 15 month check up.I was totally looking forward to him not having to have a vaccination.....then the nurse suggested that we go ahead and have him get his Chicken Pox Vaccine.I really didn't think much of it, seeing that Isaac never really had problems with other ones he has gotten before.Boy was I wrong!

After we got home I made Isaac breakfast(early lunch).Now,Usually he (especially as of late) does pretty good with breakfast.......eats some,throws a little,eats some more ,throws some more...yadda yadda yadda......But today was different.He wanted nothing to do with it......and I also noticed that he felt a little warm.(I actually thought he felt a little warm when we got up too, but that is besides the point) He was playing normal though,so I thought maybe he was just having an off day.

So fast forward to the middle of the day........he still did not want to really eat anything except for garam crackers,and drink juice....and he still felt a little warm.

Now fast forward a little more to about the time Aaron,Isaac&I left for the Graduation.I told Aaron that I didn't think Isaac was feeling very good.And I told him again during the graduation.Then after it was over,we were invited to go to dinner with Aarons mom and stepdad.I told Aaron I didn't think we should go....but he insisted.

So we went ,and then when we got there,( and this probably seemed kind of rude if you didn't know what I was thinking) right in front of everybody I turned to Aaron&said again that I didn't think we should have came,and asked him if we could go,and of course he said no.So we got us some chairs and sat down.Aarons mom wanted to hold Isaac....and as I was looking at him in her lap, I thought he didn't look too good...and at about exactly the same time that we got out drinks, Isaac BARFED all over Martie.I felt so flipping horrible for that....and I felt just sick to my stomach that we didn't just take Isaac home so he could rest.I really felt like the worst mommy ever!

And that is why I am up so late.I called the on call DR not too long ago(@midnight) to ask him what he thought was going on,and to tell him that I just took his Temp, and that it was 100.6. He was pretty positive this was from the vaccine....even though Isaac did feel warm this morning.

So needless to say,Isaac is going to be taking it easy tomorrow(err....today) so he can get back to being my healthy little man.

And one more thing......I think Aaron learned that he should listen to me more when it come to Isaac......at least I hope!!

Yes,the 7 year old boy who stole Grammys SUV is at it again.

I guess hoodrat stuff just isn't good enough.He had to beat down Grandma at wal mart,because she wouldn't buy him chicken wings.Yes Chicken wings.

Mothers Day Weekend

Mothers Day weekend was so much fun!!We went to the Demo Derby saturday night&then we went to IHOP for breakfast Sunday with Mom&Bill.Isaac made me **:)**two Mothers Day cards.....I got roses,a Visa to get some Aveda stuff online,a gift certificate to get my hair,eyebrows,and nails did....(Momma REALLY needs a new 'do STAT!!), a half case of redbull&some smelly goods too!!

I feel like I don't deserve all of that,but I feel so blessed&lucky that the people I love think I do, and maybe I am being a good mommy:)

I just don't know how I survived before I got to be one......But I am now.......and I am so thankful for that everyday.

So to all of the Mommas' out there,I hope you had the bestest Mothers Day weekend EVER!!!!!

We went and had fun at the park yet again today.After we got done @the park,Isaac past out for nearly 3 hours...lol!!

So since I had that much down time,I got to watch Michael Clayton W/ Dad&Uncle Jim:)

Eating like a big boy

Renaissance Fair

Aaron,Isaac&I went to the Renaissance Fair today in Moscow,and had tons of fun!!

As you can see,Isaac got a dinasour on his cheek,Mommy got a henna tat&what you can't see is Daddy got some steak rub.

The weather was perfect& there were quite a few hippy dippys to make the atmosphere fun!!( if you don't already know,me loves the hippy dippys)

All in all great day!!!!!

So on Tuesday,Isaac pooped his penny out.If you can't tell by the picture,it is a 1977 copper penny.

Did you know that after 1982,they started making pennies almost entirely out of zinc?The only reason I know this, is because I was getting a little paranoid about Isaac not having pooped his penny out yet,so I did the dumbest thing ever......I googled the subject.

Yeaaaaah.....if you swallow a penny made after 1982,the zinc in the penny will have a chemical reaction to the acids in your stomach and it will become all jagged,threatening tears in the stomach lining.Seriously!I did not need to know that.....DO NOT google stuff that you know you will hate yourself for later...

But I digress......

All is well with my little piggy bank,and I will do my best at keeping the spare change away from him:)

Well,despite the penny ordeal(which hasn't seen the light of day yet)We decided to got to Art under the Elms with mom&Bill.And it was alot of fun.There were tons of cool booths,alot of them with neat stained,slumped&blown glass. There was also cool jewelry.

So what did we end up getting?Zesty spinach dip mix.....lol!All that other stuff would have blown the friggin' bank......But it was still cool:)

But, Isaac got something really cool......Gammy&Gammpy got him a "name train".All of the letters of his name hook together and on the first&last letter of his name,there is an engine&a caboose that hooks to it.Too cute:)Don't know exactly where we are going to put it,but oh well.It will be a great keepsake:)

Anywhoo~that was our day,and I will keep you updated on the penny buisness!!:)

The doctor at Tri State memorial showed us the x-ray,and advised us to go home and wait.

Today I have learned that I am a complete flippin' GENIUS!!!!

I started my online courses last Wednesday,and new lessons are posted Wednesday's&Friday's.

Easy enough,right?

Well,seeing that I am a genius&all,I had it burned in my head for some reason that I had to get everything caught up so I could be ready for the lessons that would be posted today.TODAY!!!!!

So to get myself all caught up,I stayed up until 4am this morning .Lessons,assignments&quizzes all done.

Last time I checked,Wednesdays are not the first day of the week;)

See?Genius!!!!!!!!

Life Lessons

Today,something happened that I wasn't ready for.At least not yet.

Isaac&I went to Aarons' step-cousin' baby shower&we had probably been there for about 10 minutes,and Isaac was off to explore.

While he was exploring,he saw a boy& a girl...I'm guessing they were 3 or 4.....and they were playing with toy cars,which happen to be one of Isaacs' favorite kind of toys.When Isaac got closer to the kids,one of their cars bumped into his knees,so he picked it up.The little girl looked at Isaac&tore the car out of his hands,and then the proceeded to scoot there cars.....and their selves' away from Isaac.So Isaac...... with the most innocent looks on his face,sat there and watched them .I decided to walk over there and ask the little boy if he didn't want to play with him,and he looked at me like he was completley annoyed,and said no.Then I look over and see their mom(I pretty sure she was their mom,because I seen her talking to them,when we got there)look at her kids...not say anything, then she just looked at me and turned away to do something.She didn't say anything to me,or her kids,or anything.I think I literally felt my heart hit the floor.I actually had to ask Betsys'(Aarons' step-cousin) mom to hang out with Isaac for a minute,so I could go outside.....because I just started crying.I couldn't stop myself.

I was thinking to myself....how dare these little heathens treat my boy this way!!!Better yet, how could this mother just stand there and not do anything?Not say something to me,not to her kids....I mean, shit!!I think I would have felt better if she even said to me"please don't let your kid play with my kids toys" But no.she just looks at me and her kids.I hope she didn't think I was going to step in there and tell them to get some manners.Because as far as I know, that isn't my job.

So after I went outside,and gained my composure.....I went back inside,got my boy....then we proceeded to have fun the rest of the time we were there.

All this dramz aside.......I do need to say that I am so excited for Betsy,and I think she is going to be a great mom.

So do you want to know what lesson I learned today?

I learned that my boy isn't going to grow up not knowing any manners.Trust this.

So,today I'm gonna start my online courses.I'm a little nervous because,well......it has been forever since I have done anything that had to do with school,or schooling, or taking classes of any sort.But at least the courses are laid back,and well.....online.Since I already practically live on this thing, I should be somewhat o.k(???)

I'm taking Micro Excel 2007,quickbooks2007,and Micro access 2007 through the WallaWalla Community College Distance Edcuation Program to start with,and thankfully they are only 6 week courses.(a total of 8 weeks to finish all assignments,and the final exams)

Then sometime around September/October, I'll take the beyond the basics versions of these classes+some others as well through LCSC.(these ones will be even better,because they are 2-4 day courses...lol!)

I really hope everything goes o.k with these classes&I don't make myself look like a complete dumbass...lol;)

So to prepare,I will suck down some more coffee, and play with Isaac for a little bit.Hopefully that will get me in my"element":)

Do you know how addictive pistachios are?I do.I love those things.
But I can find myself eating a ton of them,and that isn't very good,right?

And then I found soybeans.They are rich,and nutty and a whole lot better for you.
If you buy them in the pod,you can get the sensation of shelling pistashios by popping them out of the pod.Dorky,I know but it works for me:)

Hot Lazy Sundays....

Today was the awesomest day EVER!!It got up to 80 degrees!!We weren't exactly ready for it,but it was most definitely something that we all needed:)

Aaron,Isaac&I went over to Mom&Bills' for BBQ to chill out for most of the day.That was fun,and Isaac had a good time playing in the yard&gettin' dirty.He got so dirty in fact,that we had to give him a quickie bath while we were there:)Thank God that I brought some extra clothes for him!!:)

Anywhoo,that was our day.And we also went to Wally world tonight(we practically live there on the weekends:)),and got a cute pic of Isaac in a cowboy hat....YEEEEEHAW!
